♦ Conductor and Insulation Combinations

♦ Conductors: high-purity electrolytic copper (CU) or electrical-grade aluminum (AL).

♦ Insulation and sheath materials can be selected independently. The factory supports mainstream combinations of PVC, PE, and XLPE to meet project requirements for temperature resistance, waterproofing, and mechanical protection.

♦ Specific selection depends on project ampacity, ambient temperature, and installation budget. For example: 90°C thermal rating or enhanced underground waterproofing — both achievable through material combinations.

♦ Mechanical Protection and Optional Upgrades

♦ Standard configurations include non-armoured and heavy armoured designs. Optional add-ons:

♦ - LSZH compounds for enclosed public areas

♦ - Mica-tape fire-resistant (FR) barriers for emergency circuits

♦ - Anti-termite / anti-rodent chemical sheaths for direct burial or outdoor environments

STA Armoured Cable

♦ Optional Upgrade: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) compounds are available upon request for both insulation and sheathing layers to comply with advanced public safety mandates.

Application Guideline

♦ Choose STA: Ideal for direct underground burial, cable trenches, and humid environments requiring moderate mechanical crush protection.

♦ Choose SWA: STA is not recommended for environments with frequent bending, vertical suspension, or high-tensile stretching risks. For high-tensile engineering, please refer to our SWA armoured cable series.
