Insulation: XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) with superior thermal stability, capable of continuous operation at a 90°C conductor temperature.
Metallic Screen: Helically applied Copper Tape Screen (CTS) to ground fault currents and control electrical stress.
Outer Sheath: Robust PVC ST2, providing strong resistance to moisture, abrasion, and environmental aging.
N2XSY single-core medium voltage cables are intended for fixed installation in power distribution systems where stable electrical performance, effective screening, and long service life are required. CTS controls electrical stress around the conductor, reduces partial discharge, and improves operational stability in medium voltage networks.
CTS uses copper tape and is suitable for standard fault levels, while CWS (copper wire screen) is used in higher short-circuit current environments.
