The Screened Aerial Bundled Cable (ABC) with Bare Messenger Neutral 19/33kV manufactured by Zhongdong Cable is designed for medium-voltage overhead distribution systems requiring enhanced electrical protection, mechanical strength, and reliable operation under demanding outdoor conditions.
The cable consists of three XLPE insulated aluminium phase conductors twisted around a bare aluminium alloy messenger neutral conductor. Each insulated phase conductor is equipped with a semi-conductive screen and metallic screening layer to provide improved electric field control and protection against external interference.
Compared with conventional bare overhead conductors, this screened MV ABC design reduces the risk of phase-to-phase faults, improves operational safety in areas with limited clearance, and provides a compact solution for modern overhead distribution networks.
