The GWS (Galvanized Steel Wire) manufactured by Zhongdong Cable is mainly used as a ground wire, earth wire, and mechanical support wire in overhead power transmission and distribution systems.
GWS is made from high-strength galvanized steel wires with a zinc coating that provides corrosion protection and improves outdoor durability. Compared with aluminium-based conductors, GWS offers excellent mechanical strength and is commonly installed above overhead transmission lines as a grounding conductor or used as a messenger/support wire in specific aerial cable systems.
