The CU/XLPE/CWS/AWA/PVC single-core power cable 18/30kV manufactured by Zhongdong Cable is designed in accordance with IEC 60502-2 and IEC 60228 (Class 1 or Class 2 copper conductor). It features a copper conductor, XLPE insulation, copper wire screen (CWS), aluminium wire armour (AWA), and PVC outer sheath, providing stable electrical performance and mechanical protection for medium-voltage distribution systems.
The aluminium wire armour offers additional protection against external mechanical stress while maintaining a lightweight, non-magnetic structure, making the cable suitable for single-core AC installations where steel armour is not preferred.
